“No vermiculite!” was the cry we heard last year. Growers and sales people in the Western US were scrambling to obtain vermiculite— proper grade at any price in the beginning, then whatever grade was available in the end. As if few flakes of vermiculite are a must for growing quality seedlings. –Shiv Reddy
