Our Metro-Mix® bark based growing media for growers offers a broad range of applications ranging from small cell packs to large containers. All formulas are pH adjusted and contain our long-lasting wetting agent.
What is bark?
Composted bark comes from the forest product industry. The bark is shredded or chipped and then composted to make it a higher value mix component.
What does it do?
When added to growing mix, composted bark increases air capacity. Its unique particle size and shape allows air to circulate through the soil, improving oxygen availability to plant roots.
